May 13, 2007: Zac’s Graduation Party

Zac and Amanda were going to miss their graduation because they were going to Israel for the archeological dig again this year and they had to leave before the school year was done.  We asked Zac if he wanted to go out for dinner or have a gaming graduation party.  He opted for the “Gaming Graduation Party”.

We had some of his friends from college and high school over.  In no particular order:  Jeremy, George, Kristen, Sam, John, Melissa, Amber, Aaron, his brothers Andrew and Lukas, Amy (Lukes girlfriend), Amanda (Zac’s fiancee) and Tim & Kathy.

Two different games had to be played because we had more players then most of our games could handle.  Zac, Andrew, Jeremy, George, Kristen and Tim played Citadels in the rec room.  In the kitchen Kathy, Amber, Melissa, Sam and John played Ticket to Ride.  The game of Citadels lasted a little longer then Ticket to Ride so Aaron, Melissa, Sam and John played Star Wars: Life after they finished Ticket to Ride.

When our game of Citadels was done Zac and Amanda opened their presents and cards.  We gave Zac a gift certificate for a HD TV that he could redeem after he moves to Denver (no sense moving it twice). After the gifts and before Dinner everybody played a game of Wits & Wagers.

We had Lusia’s pizza for Dinner and ordered some 30” thin crust pizzas and some 18” stuffed crust pizzas.  It was a good thing that we had a large table.  Everybody had a good time celebrating Zac and Amanda’s graduation from college.
