We went to Kathy’s folks for Christmas on Friday and came back home on Christmas eve. Friday night Sarah and her kids were over to open presents. We opened presents for everybody else on Saturday afternoon. Christal and Trista came over with their babies also.
Kathy, Zac, Amanda and I left early in the van. Lukas, Andrew and Andy came after Andy got done with work. Apparently they missed getting on I-39 south at Rockford because we got a call from them asking about Freeport. They then proceeded to take the scenic route south from there. They then went west on Interstate 74 at the Quad-cities and went to Iowa. (Kathy made this mistake once also). They did finally make it to Grandma & Grandpa’s house.
As usual over the holidays we played games and ate plenty of food. It seems that there were a couple of themes for the gifts this year. There were slippers, boxers, coffee cups and games. I decided that if I want to promote gaming I should go ahead and do it at Christmas.
