8 People for the LAN Party on March 15, 16 & 17, 2006

We had 8 eager gamers for a Mid-week Lan Party.  Carthage was on Spring break and we had Battlefield 2 battlefest.  Wednesday night we played on a LAN Server so we did not increase our global rankings.  I was surprised the Server (only 1200 MHz) could serve as a BF2 Server, but we did play on small maps and only had 8 players.

We played at night into the wee hours and then slept some and then went to work or school (if you had to).  The next couple of nights 4 or 5 of us played BF2 on the internet and for the most part we were all on the same team.  It was GREAT!!

9 People for the LAN Party on July 15 & 16, 2000

We had 9 people for the Party and played mostly shooters, Half-Life and Counter-Strike. Played a little Motocross Madness 2 which created some good laughs. Maybe next time we will have some kind of LAN Olympics. No date is set for the next one but maybe sometime in October or early November.

LAN Party on July 15 & 16, 2000

It looks like we are going to have 9 people and computers. My 5 and 4 others and maybe another 1 or so. So it should be a fun time. Hopefully BookWorm can get a digital camera so I can get some pictures for this page.

LAN Party that we had Sept 4, 1999

We had a mini party in Jan or Feb but no pictures. We mainly played Half-Life if I remember correctly. DoZeR thinks we also played some Tribes and Unreal Tournament at the Jan or Feb party.

I remember that we had some problems getting some computers to work on the network. Nick & Steve and Erik's computers now have network cards installed and so we no longer have to swap cards in and out.

NOTE: If you can spend the $30, buy a network card and leave it in your computer. It is a worth while investment if you like LAN parties.

We are having a LAN party on July 15 & 16, 2000.  It looks like we are going to be mostly playing Half-Life (and its mods), Unreal Tournament, maybe MotoCross Madness 1 or 2 and Interstate 82?? and some other first person shooters or action games. We have been having about 7 or 8 computers (5 of them are mine) and I have room for about 10 (total). I will have to limit it to 10 or 12 so please let me know if you are planning on being there.

Everybody puts in $5 and I provide chips and snacks and order pizza on Saturday night. Everybody should bring their own beverage. My kids and their friends are playing and it is my home so act accordingly (alcohol is OK to bring, if you are of age, but this is NOT a drinking party).  We play late into the night and you can crash in a recliner or on the floor if you want to and play more on Sunday. If you are interested in playing contact me HERE.
